SCANZ 2023 CONVENTION - ADAPTABILITY

Monday 15 - Wednesday 17 May

The 2023 Convention in the amazing Bay of Islands is finished, and we had a great time!

We want to give special thanks to:

  • our Speakers - who presented some wonderful, informative and interesting talks.
  • our Sponsors - who helped us be able to run this fantastic yearly event
  • our Delegates - who took the time out of their busy life to attend
  • our organising committee - who pulled it all together!

The Bay of Islands lived up to its name of the Winterless North for the most part, though there were a few hours that were quite chilly!  But when the sun shone, it was amazing.  When we took the ferries over to Russell for the Conference Dinner, the Bay was totally calm, and the night was incredible. 

Attendees have access to the Convention Photos, Speaker Presentations and very shortly, the convention recording.  

Now we start planning for 2024!  Save the dates for Tauranga on Wednesday 15 - Friday 17 May 2024!

    Here's a notice to all convention delegates, the first lot of photos are up!  However, with so many people also taking photos, we would love to share some of those as well, so feel free to email them to secretary@scanz.org.nz, and we will put these up on the website.  

    Please note that these photos are only accessible by delegates of the 2023 Convention.

    3R have again confirmed their Sustainability Sponsorship.  This sponsorship includes planting trees to offset the carbon from the convention.  We are also working with the Copthorne Bay of Islands to reduce waste during the convention.
