MONDAY 15 MAY

Welcome Function – 5.30pm

The convention starts with a Welcome Function in the Copthorne Waitangi for all delegates, speakers, sponsors and partners. 

This is an excellent opportunity to catch up with old friends as well as network with those we may only meet once a year.  Drinks and Nibbles will be served, and our President, Eric Baggen, will welcome everyone before we head off to the Quiz Night. 

The BRENNTAG Quiz Night – 7pm

The Brenntag Quiz night has fast become a must do event and is extremely entertaining, fun and ever so slightly competitive!  There may even be people forming their teams already, but as there is no way for anyone to prepare for the questions, everyone has a chance to win!

Brenntag started this back in 2013, and the event just keeps getting better.  The Quiz starts at 7pm and will run for around 2 hours.  Food is provided to keep the brain cells working.

Location will be advised when confirmed.

TUESDAY 16 MAY

Convention Dinner – 6.00pm

After a full day's sessions, everyone looks forward to the relaxing and tasty Convention Dinner.  As we are in the Bay of Islands, it is accepted that we really need hop on a ferry and go across the bay to historic Kororareka / Russell to go to the Duke of Marlborough for Dinner.

Entertainment will of course be available after dinner.

THEME - "RASCALS AND REPROBATES"

I know, we have just used the theme of the Duke of Marlborough "Refreshing Rascals and Reprobates since 1827", but honestly, it just works.

For ideas, here comes the fun bit - if you google Rascals, you come up with the movie "Lil Rascals", and Reprobates just leads down a path lined with devils, so you get to come up with your own ideas.  Honestly, our initial thoughts were more on the lines of 1800's NZ (whalers, pirates, and ne'er do wells), but don't be limited by that..

There will, of course, be prizes for the best outfits sourced from the local area.
